A Section 20 notice is issued to leaseholders when it is intended that works are to be undertaken for which you will be asked to pay. The consultation progress has three stages:
• First stage – a notice of intention to do the works
• Second stage – notification of estimates obtained by the landlord or project team
• Third stage – notification of award of contract
